BA (English Literature)
The programme instills a comprehensive understanding and humanistic approach to peoples, cultures, and global issues through the study of the various literatures in English as they appear in different forms and genres.

MA (English Literature)
The programme helps students develop knowledge and understanding of English literature and sharpen skills of literary research, writing and analysis. It ensures the development of research and analytical skills, and advances the level of writing.

About the Department
The Department of Economics was introduced in 1963 with a strength of 25 students; in the current scenario number of students has increased to 180. The programme offered BA (Economics) till 2009 and after that it was changed as BA (Economics with Banking and Insurance) till 2015. From 2016 onwards, the nomenclature has been changed to BA (Economics). The programme has raised funds from UGC minor and major projects. The programme offers a job-oriented course on Foundation Course for Civil Service Examination. The Planning Forum is the programme Association functioning actively for the multidimensional exposure of the students which organize various activities like Guest lecture, adjunct lecture, workshop, and seminars and conduct various competitions for the students. The programmes provide in-depth knowledge of the concepts, principles, and models and develop basic skills used in the subject of economics and understand various financial and economic sectors of the economy, which will enable the students to take up careers in the field of academic, corporate, administration and entrepreneurship.
