The Department of Costume and Apparel Design was introduced in the year 2014. The programmes offered by the department are B.Voc Garment Designing, Community college- Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Garment Designing, B.Sc Costume Design and Fashion, M.Sc Fashion and Apparel Design, The curriculum incorporates the requirements of garment industries in an innovative and flexible manner in developing holistic and well skilled graduates. The programmes integrate the CBCS and OBE model curiculum, emphasizing hands-on training, skill development, industrial exposure, and experiential learning. The aim of the department is to enhance the employability of the graduates and to meet garment industry requirements.National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) certification in NSQF levels with Assistant Fashion Designer, Fashion Designer, Boutique Manager, Export Manager, Sourcing Manager and Online sample Designer. The department has implemented well equipped labs with advanced machineries, technologies and good infrastructure.The department has the privilege of having Centre of Excellence for Apparel, Made-ups & Home Furnishing in collabration with the Apparel, Made-ups and Home Furnishings Skill Sector Council (AMHSSC), Delhi.

The B.Com programme provides a strong foundation in the functioning of business organizations and imparts specialized skill sets in the areas of accounting, finance, taxation and marketing by offering a comprehensive curriculum. The programme aims to equip student with entrepreneurial and leadership qualities to meet the challenges of the competitive world. This programme envisages effective teaching in commerce using innovative teaching and learning methods such as real time projects, Situation Analysis and practical training through summer internships.
