Office of International Relations

The Office of International Relations (OIR) at KCW is engaged in and responsible for developing, nurturing, and sustaining global collaborative partnerships. In this process, OIR identifies potential institutions abroad and establishes contact with concerned persons/departments.

KCW is also an approved Partner Institute (PI) of ‘Study in India’ programme of the Government of India. OIR facilitates the process of admission of international students to KCW.

OIR facilitates and encourages the following broad types of collaborative partnerships:

  • Faculty Mobility (Exchange, Visits, Co-teaching, Lectures etc.)
  • Students Mobility (Exchange, Immersion, Study Abroad Programmes etc.)
  • Joint Faculty Research and Publications
  • Exchange of Academic Knowledge, Course Information and Reading Materials; Design and Development of Curriculum
  • International Conferences, Workshops, and Seminars
  • Internships and Projects by Students
  • Progression Agreements including Dual Degree, Twinning, and Other Programmes of Specialised Nature

So far, over 400 students have travelled to international destinations under ‘study abroad’ and ‘global immersion’ programmes. This is in addition to over 500 students who have travelled abroad as a part of their annual international study/industry tours. Over 100 students have participated in short-term programmes offered and conducted by our global partner institutions and earned certificates and credits. Our faculty members have delivered lectures and taught international students in overseas campuses of our partners and online virtual platforms. Over 50 students have presented papers in international conferences and seminars.
